Crushing!!! - My First Pattern

I've been a busy bee. I've been working on a pattern for the last few weeks and I'm finally done!  I'm so excited to share this pattern with you!   So here it is!

It's based on the traditional Carpenter's Frame Block.  It's called Crushing.  Why?  Because when I designed it... I was 'crushing on it'. I knew that it would look amazing once I made it.  Finished size is 64" x 64".

If you'd like to make your own,  you can purchase it here at Craftsy!  A big Thank You to my dear friend, Maria for all your help and encouragement!  You are the best!!

Happy Sewing!

oxox,
Sunny

  1. So I was thinking about carpenter's stars last weekend, and here you have gone and made the nested pattern. It's lovely and I am going to go and get a copy.

  2. A carpenter's square has been on my bucket list and now I'm glad I didn't get to i yet since yours is so much more fun than a traditional one. Those tiny bits in the center look a little frightening but worth it. congrats on Crushing

  4. This is a beautiful pattern - what a great job on your first one! I think you chose the perfect name, too, but for another reason. It's for the repeating circle of big and small hearts made in the white sections! I'm trying to figure out how I can make them stand out more without changing the while color scheme. Maybe with the quilting? Subtle, but still there, plain as can be. Lovely!
